 Gaursundar appeared in his beautiful fair incarnation in Navadwip and performed excellent activities. He is the Lord Krishna Himself with the heart of Goddess Radha. 

Lord Gaursundar primarily concentrated in preaching the Holy name of Lord through chanting of the Holy name. Lord Gaursundar urged that chanting the beautiful name is the way to release the soul from the clutches of maya and establish themselves in the Holy feet of Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha. 




Gaursundar is seen to chant the Holy name of lord with devotion and encourages His followers to do the same. Gaursundar is seen with Nityananad. 

Lord Gaursundar is the beautiful God who entices His devotees with His charming activities, which He performed on the banks of the Ganga River. Lord Gaursundar is the most merciful incarnation who pleases the devotees with His beautiful forms, merciful smiles, and divine presence and devotion. 

Lord Gaursundar manifested on the earth in 1486 AD. He made His appearance during the lunar eclipse during the chanting of the Holy Name of the Lord. He incarnated to preach the yuga dharma of congregational chanting and sankirtana. Lord Gaursundar is known as Nimai because he was born under a neem tree.

The incarnation day of Lord Gaursundar is celebrated all over the world as Gaur Purnima. Lord Gaursundar is an integral part of the Gaudiya tradition. He teaches the path of bhakti yoga and devotion to His followers. 

Lord Gaursundar appears with Goddess Vishnupriya Thakurani in Navadwip. Goddess Vishnupriya Thakurani is the beautiful wife of Lord Gaursundar, who accompanies the Lord in His activities in Navadwip. 

Gaursundar mercifully appeared at the yogpeeth in Navadwip with His associates to initiate the sankirtana yajna. In every yuga, the lord takes His incarnation when there is an increase in adharma to deliver the pious souls from the negative powers. 

When people became too preoccupied with the material pursuits and egoistic regarding the material possessions, Lord Gaursundar incarnated on the earth to fill people with Krishna consciousness. Lord Garsundar taught His followers about the essentials of the devotional activities of Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha.

 Vishnupriya Thaurani is a prominent figure in the lineage of Gaudiya Vaishnavism. Kashinath Pandit arranged the wedding of Lord Gaursundar with Goddess Vishnupriya Thakurani. Vishnupriya Thakurani is Lakshmipriya Thakurani herself. The wedding of Vishnupriya Thakurani with Lord Gaursundar is considered to be a divine wedding where an exchange of garlands occurred.
